Laboratory Water Storage and Handling
General product education · Follow the final product label
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or animal use. Not for injection. Final storage directions and lot-specific documentation will control.
Start with the product label
Before placing a laboratory solution into inventory, verify its identity, volume, lot number, manufacturing date, expiration date, and stated storage conditions. Do not substitute website information for the final label or applicable lot documentation.
Protect container integrity
Keep the vial in its original labeled container and examine the glass, closure, seal, and visible contents before use. A damaged closure, broken seal, unexpected particles, leakage, or unexplained change in appearance should be handled under the laboratory's rejection and disposal procedures.
Control the storage environment
Use a clean, organized storage area with access limited according to laboratory policy. Protect materials from uncontrolled heat, freezing, direct sunlight, contamination, and physical damage. Record environmental conditions when required by the research protocol or quality system.
Maintain traceability
Inventory records should connect each container to its product name, lot number, receipt date, expiration date, storage location, and disposition. Traceability helps prevent mix-ups and supports review of the materials used in a research workflow.
Follow established procedures
Handling, compatibility evaluation, disposal, and any decision to retain or reject a container should follow the laboratory's documented procedures and applicable safety information. G&C Reconstix does not provide medical or administration guidance.
